Roland Giduz, a 1948 UNC journalism graduate, worked for newspapers in Chapel Hill and Durham, edited The Chapel Hill News Leader and The News of Orange County, and served on Chapel Hill's Board of Aldermen. He managed the UNC Alumni Review from 1966, and his roughly 18,900 negatives from about 1948 to 1970 record Chapel Hill, Carrboro and the campus.
