Every little bit helps to fund our programs.
We can’t do it alone. If you have a skill or the time to help, there are many ways to help out.
“Information helps you to see that you’re not alone. That there’s somebody in Mississippi and somebody in Tokyo who all have wept, who’ve all longed and lost, who’ve all been happy. So the library helps you to see, not only that you are not alone, but that you’re not really any different from everyone else.”
What the Friends are About
The Friends group is committed to helping support the library. Visit the Projects Funded page to see how we have supported Orange County Public Library.
Visit our Events page to learn about upcoming events sponsored by FOCPL.
Book Sales happen several times a year. Sales from our book sales help to fund many Friend projects. We depend on community help. Bring donation books to the library. Check our Events Calendar for dates of upcoming book sales.
Orange County Public Library (OCPL) is now a member of the Library Speakers Consortium (LSC). LSC is committed to a speaker roster consisting of at least 50% women and people of color. OCPL’s membership in the LSC is sponsored by the Friends of Orange County Public Library.
