Dick Baddour

Dick Baddour, a UNC alumnus, spent more than four decades on the university's staff. He began in 1967 as assistant dean of men and became director of athletics in 1997. In his fourteen years in the post Carolina teams won 13 national championships. He announced his retirement in July 2011 and later taught in the university's graduate program in sport administration.
