Supporting local figure
David Price represented North Carolina's fourth congressional district, which includes Orange County and Chapel Hill, for more than three decades before retiring in January 2023. As a UNC student around 1961, he was president of the Baptist Student Union when campus religious groups picketed Chapel Hill's segregated theaters and restaurants.
