Jenny Levy has been the only head coach of women's lacrosse at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, named the new program's first head coach in October 1994. Her Tar Heel teams won NCAA championships in 2013, 2016, 2022 and 2025 and nine Atlantic Coast Conference tournament titles.

Carolina added women's lacrosse as a varsity sport and in October 1994 named Levy, then an assistant coach at Georgetown, its first head coach. She is still the only head coach the program has had.

UNC announced that Levy had been chosen for the 2021 class of the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame in her 26th season at Carolina, with a record of 373 wins and 117 losses and two NCAA titles at that point.

UNC beat Boston College 16 to 5 at Dorrance Field for Levy's 400th career victory, all of them at Carolina, in her 28th season. She was the sixth head coach in any division of the sport to reach 400 wins.
