Carolyn Kizer

Poet Carolyn Kizer was UNC's writer-in-residence in 1967–68 and joined the English faculty on February 1, 1970, as a visiting lecturer heading the poetry side of the creative writing program. She came to UNC from the national arts foundation, where she had led its literary program.
