William Cabe
William Cabe was a planter on the north side of the Eno River, a son of Barnaby Cabe. He took over his father's homeplace tract after 1777 and built it into a corn and wheat plantation that reached 1,389 acres. In July 1785 he published a broadside, signed by his brother and 28 neighbors, warning off hunters whose dogs drove away their stock. He died without a will on June 18, 1828.
