David Zucchino
David Zucchino, a 1973 UNC journalism graduate, returned to campus in fall 2023 as an adjunct instructor teaching International Reporting. He has won two Pulitzer Prizes: in 1989 for his coverage of apartheid in South Africa and for his book Wilmington's Lie, on the 1898 Wilmington coup.
