CJ Suitt

A Chapel Hill native, CJ Suitt became the town's first poet laureate after the Town Council voted in November 2019 to create the post. A spoken-word poet, he directed and coached the Sacrificial Poets and worked with the Marian Cheek Jackson Center, PlayMakers and the Ackland Art Museum.
