Margaret Berry Street

Margaret Berry Street, born in 1892 into the Berry family of Orange County, graduated from the University of North Carolina in 1913 and from its law school in 1915, the first woman to do so. She practiced law in Charlotte and Asheville and later worked for the Home Owners' Loan Corporation.
