Tressie McMillan Cottom
Tressie McMillan Cottom joined UNC’s School of Information and Library Science as an associate professor in summer 2020 and became a senior faculty researcher in its Center for Information, Technology and Public Life. That October she was named a MacArthur Fellow. Her books include Thick, a 2019 National Book Award finalist.
