William J. Barber II gave UNC's 2017 Weil Lecture on American Citizenship in Moeser Auditorium, Hill Hall, in Chapel Hill. He was then pastor of Greenleaf Christian Church in Goldsboro, the architect of the Forward Together Moral Movement marches in Raleigh, and a former president of the North Carolina NAACP.
