  2. Construction or physical change · Mebane Chapel, Union Street, Hillsborough Mebane Chapel builds its church in Hillsborough under its first pastor, B. F. Alston

    A year after the United Holy Church congregation organized, it put up its chapel, seating about 200, with thirty-five members and Rev. B. F. Alston as first pastor.

  3. Founding or opening · Temple of Truth The Temple of Truth is organized

    Henry Thompson, R. C. Turner and others organized the Temple of Truth, a United Holy Church congregation, and built its church in 1918.

  4. Founding or opening · White Rock Church White Rock Church is organized

    Laura Atwater, Henry Thompson and others organized White Rock Church, a United Holy Church congregation, and built it the same year. R. C. Turner, pastor of the Temple of Truth, was also its first pastor.
