The Friends Behind It

20 friends joined in 2018. The minutes from that year never recorded a total member count, so this report counts only the newcomers. Membership is the steady base every book sale and grant is built on.

The semiannual sales and the ongoing shelf are run entirely by volunteers. Reserves ended the year at $48,444 — the cushion that lets the Friends give even in lean years.

Libraries Rock turned the summer into a playlist, with giant musical notes filling with stars as children read. One reader set out to finish a thousand books before September and made it.
