The semiannual sales and the ongoing shelf are run entirely by volunteers. Reserves ended the year at $43,185 — the cushion that lets the Friends give even in lean years.

The Community Resource Fair joined the kickoff at River Park, with thirty-five local organizations on the field. It was the largest summer in the state’s records, and adults finished the season with a luncheon featuring two local novelists.
