1. 1848-1851 Sarah Kollock becomes the Burwell School's teacher of French and drawing Sarah Kollock, one of the Burwell School's first pupils, had helped teach the younger children and in 1848 became its full-time teacher of French and drawing. By September 1851 Molly Burwell had taken her place and she was in Oxford. 2. 1859 The Nash and Kollock School turns the old Nash law office into a music room After Chief Justice Frederick Nash died, his daughters Sally and Maria Nash and their cousin Sarah Kollock began holding their school's music lessons in his former law office on Margaret Lane. July 15, 1859 Nash and Kollock School for young ladies opens in Hillsborough After Chief Justice Frederick Nash died in 1858, his daughters Sarah and Maria Nash and their cousin Sarah Kollock opened a select boarding and day school for girls in the Nash home.
