Bonnie Hammersley
Bonnie Hammersley was Orange County's manager for ten years, from June 2014 to July 2024, after five years as county administrator in Muskegon County, Michigan, and two decades with Dane County, Wisconsin. Her tenure took in the county's response to the pandemic and projects including the Northern Campus and the Southern Branch Library in Carrboro. In July 2022 she made Erin Sapienza the library's director.
