Methodist reports counted 12 schools on the circuit, with 54 officers and teachers and 415 pupils.

S. F. Nicks begins the first of two pastorates on the Hillsborough Methodist charge
Nicks, born in Orange County, served the five-church charge until 1927 and returned for 1940-1945. The book counts him among the charge's greatest pastors, liked across denominations.
