Friends of the Orange County Public Library

Dear Friends,

Join us next Friday, October 17th for the Book Walk ribbon cutting in Efland-Cheeks Park!

The fun will start at 11:00, and will include a children’s craft activity.

If you haven’t yet enjoyed the book trail, be sure to visit the park. The bilingual books provide a fun experience for kids, with a great story and wonderful illustrations.

Book Sale A Big Success!

Our September book sale raised an impressive $4,676.05. Hooray! These funds will go a long way in supporting the Orange County Public Libraries.

Our next book sale will be held Friday, March 13th – Sunday, March 15th, 2026, with a Friends Members-Only presale from 5:00 – 7:00 on Thursday, March 12th. Mark your calendars!

October Meeting

The next Friends board meeting will be on Thursday, October 16th at 7:00 pm in the meeting room at the main branch in Hillsborough. All members are welcome to attend. The agenda appears below.
