Ellison G. Mangum and Company General Store · 1859

Account ledger of the general store run by Ellison Goodloe Mangum, 1792 to 1868, also known as Shepherd and Mangum, with entries from about 1859 to 1865. Local farmers and businessmen appear as customers. The store stood where Hampton and Bahama Roads met, near Bahama in the Flat River area, now part of Durham County.
