Thomas Faucett account books, 1841-1859.

Faucett, Thomas, 1855- · 1841

Thomas Faucett kept three account books between 1841 and 1859, now in the Southern Historical Collection at UNC, collection 2927-z. Faucett worked as a blacksmith, and the volumes record his accounts along with prices for alcoholic beverages, documenting economic conditions at Hillsborough in the middle of the nineteenth century.
