Dear Friends,
Our next board meeting will be this Thursday, June 8th at 7:00 pm and will be held in person in the library’s community room, with a Zoom option for those who prefer to attend virtually (see Zoom link below).
Thanks to the members who attended the last meeting! It was nice to see some new faces. We appreciate input from general members. We also have five available positions on the board if any of you would like to consider running. Board members have an official vote on decisions. The time commitment is minimal. Board members are generally expected to attend monthly meetings, work a shift or two at book sales, and occasionally help with a program or event. It’s a great way to have a positive impact on the library and community with only a small commitment. If you are interested, please email focplnc@gmail.com with a bio detailing your relevant work or volunteer experience, a short statement of why you’d like to serve on the board, and a photo. Thanks!
