- Pleasant Green Methodist Church builds a frame church on the site of its log churches In 1869 the Pleasant Green congregation in the Eno neighborhood replaced the second of its log churches, the first dating from the 1830s, with a frame building.
- Pleasant Green Methodist Church completes its present Gothic frame church The congregation finished a steep-gabled frame church with Gothic windows and door in 1910, replacing the 1869 building.
