Three scrapbook volumes assembled by E. D. Witherspoon, born 1902, covering 1860 to 1950, part of the Southern Historical Collection at UNC, collection 3363-z. Subjects include family social life and customs in Hillsborough and in Goldsboro, along with American school prose and sermons. Lizzie Witherspoon and Mrs. Walter S. Witherspoon also appear, and Hillsborough is the volumes' Orange County tie.
