Raymond Stone Photograph Collection

Stone, Raymond · 1962

Black and white prints, 247 of them at 5 by 7 inches, by Lt. Lloyd Burchett of the State Highway Patrol, Governor Terry Sanford's driver and photographer, from the governor's 1962 tour of North Carolina schools. Stops ran from mountain high schools to the coast, and Hillsborough High School is among them. Topics include school integration. The collection carries Raymond Stone's name.

Walter Reece Berryhill (1900-1979) taught in the School of Medicine at Chapel Hill.
