Lawrence A. Sharpe (1920 to 1995) taught in the Department of Romance Languages at Chapel Hill, and his papers from 1961 to 1964 form collection 4543 in the Southern Historical Collection at UNC. Subjects include constructed international languages, particularly Ido and Neo, and the teaching of universal language schemes.
