Frederick Ashburn Rich's 2003 family history of the Rich family of Alamance Creek, descended from Thomas Rich (1730-1780). The family's lines run through Orange, Alamance and Rockingham counties; Alamance Creek lay within Orange County until Alamance County was formed from it in 1849. Useful to family historians working on Rich lines in the North Carolina Piedmont.
