Robert Potter's address to the people of Granville County, signed from the prison in Hillsborough in 1832 and printed there by Faustus Castle. Potter, a former congressman from Granville, was serving a sentence in Orange County for a notorious assault, and the pamphlet is his appeal to his former constituents. Topics include North Carolina prisoners and biography and the 1832 Hillsborough imprint.
