A small collection of 200 items, half a linear foot, documents the historian Carl Hamilton Pegg, born 1905, from 1931 to 1983, part of the Southern Historical Collection at UNC, collection 4771. The papers cover historians and the teaching of history in North Carolina. People represented include Chester Penn Higby, Charles S. Sydnor, David C. R. Heisser and Eleanor Smith Pegg, along with Pegg's place on the Chapel Hill history faculty.
