The Oral History of James Nunn: A Unique North Carolinian

Taped conversations between James Nunn (1882-1975), an African American man of Chapel Hill, and W. Wilder Towle, transcribed as an oral history. Published by the Chapel Hill Historical Society in 1977 in a limited printing of 100 copies, this one number 75 and autographed, 246 pages with a portrait. Topics include African Americans in North Carolina and North Carolina biography.
