Some one hundred items from Stephen Moore (1734-1799) and his family, dated 1767 to 1867, in the Southern Historical Collection at UNC, collection 2205. Account books and correspondence cover merchants in North Carolina and New York, agriculture in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, commerce at Hillsborough, internal migration, and Mount Tirzah Plantation in Person County. Phillips Moore is named as well.
