Typed transcripts of Civil War letters, 117 unnumbered leaves compiled by Hugh Conway Browning in 1965 with an accompanying disc of the same letters in PDF. Most were written to Eleanor Ann Lockhart by her brothers John, Levi, Samuel and Gaston, by her cousin W.D. Woods and by Clark and Walker cousins, some with the compiler's commentary. The letters concern Orange County families. Part of the Rebecca B. Wall Local History Collection.
