Pickett family · 1763

Pickett family papers from Orange County, 158 items beginning in 1763. Most are copies of indentures, deeds and other instruments recording the family's purchase and sale of land, chiefly before 1860. There are also Civil War letters, one giving a soldier's own feelings and another news from home, along with genealogy, receipts and further deeds. At Duke's Rubenstein Library.
