Kron family letters of Stanly County, 1827 to 1901: Dr. Francis Joseph Kron's correspondence with Francis L. Hawks, Nicholas Marcellus Hentz and Governor Thomas Bragg, and later letters from Adelaide and Elizabeth Kron written after his death. Among them is his letter declining an appointment as a trustee, and the University of North Carolina figures in the correspondence. Part of North Carolina Memory.
