Seamus Heaney's commencement address at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on May 12, 1996, published the following year by George S. Lensing and Weldon Thornton. Sixteen pages with a portrait. The colophon records five hundred copies printed for the university by the Stinehour Press of Lunenburg, Vermont, the first hundred signed by the poet. Thornton transcribed the text from Heaney's reading copy.
