Committees worked on supplies and provisions for the army and the adjustment of public claims. Bill of 6 September 1780 for a specific provision tax, a levy paid in goods such as corn, wheat, flour, pork, beef, rye, oats and rice for the Revolutionary war effort. The 26 images take in sheriffs, justices, oaths and the Quakers, Moravians, Mennonites and Dunkards, with Abner Nash, Archibald Maclaine and Benjamin Williams named. Hillsborough figures in the session.
