Christmas card for 1950 with a drawing by William Meade Prince, the illustrator and author who lived in Chapel Hill. Prince and his wife, Lillian, sent it to the novelist Inglis Fletcher in Edenton, with a short printed holiday greeting.

    Roy Thompson's short study of the novelist Inglis Fletcher (1879 to 1969), the Illinois-born author of twelve historical novels of colonial and early North Carolina, beginning with 'Raleigh's Eden' in 1940. It considers her fiction and her place in Edenton, where the Chowan Herald published the book in 1975; 56 pages with illustrations.
