Manuscript sermon by the Presbyterian minister Robert Zenas Johnston on John 3:7-8 and the Holy Spirit's work of regeneration, written at Pineville on 14 February 1863. He first preached it at Sharon Presbyterian Church in Charlotte that month and gave it again at churches around Charlotte, Monroe and Gastonia.
