Hugh Morton photograph, November 1941, of Al Capp and his wife Catherine Wingate Cameron posed behind a wooden cutout painted with the bodies of Li'l Abner and Daisy Mae, characters from Capp's comic strip. Capp was in Chapel Hill that month for the university's Sadie Hawkins Day festivities.
