Two analog cassettes carrying public radio essays by Billy E. Barnes of Chapel Hill, issued under his own imprint in 1997. Barnes lived from 1931 to 2018, and his essays cover state biography and the social life and customs of Chapel Hill.
A volume of black and white copies of Billy E. Barnes slides made between 1964 and 1968, 135 unnumbered leaves arranged by topic, each print carrying subject, location, date and negative file number, with a short account of Barnes' life and work. Some slides are by Peter Range. Topics include poverty, the North Carolina Fund and country life in the state. Part of the North Carolina Collection at UNC.
Photographs produced by the Photographic Services unit of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Library between 1976 and 2003, about 2,500 items in the North Carolina Collection at UNC.
