Papers of the architectural historian John V. Allcott (1905-1989), spanning the 1900s to 1986 in 500 items, half a linear foot, some of them photocopies, in the Southern Historical Collection at UNC, collection 4480. The papers relate to his books 'Campus at Chapel Hill: two hundred years of architecture' and 'Colonial homes in North Carolina', and to domestic and college architecture in the state.
