Prize details: The cabin is just one-half mile from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, a half-hour drive from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, and one hour from Appalachian Ski Mountain. Hiking, waterfalls, river tubing, wineries, caverns, and Watauga Lake are all within easy drives, and the area offers fun and beauty in every season. The cabin has three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths, and sleeps up to eight people. The main floor has two queen bedrooms with a jack-and-jill bath. The loft above the main floor has one twin bed and one full-sized bed. The basement bedroom is a separate space with its own entrance and has a full bath with shower stall, as well as a full-size washer and dryer and sitting area. The basement bedroom has a king-sized bed that can be separated into twin beds if preferred. The living room and all bedrooms have TVs with Roku. The relaxing outside deck has a porch swing, rocking chairs, and chaise lounges. The deck is on two levels, so there’s plenty of space to spread out. The cabin also has a picnic table and fire pit for outdoor fun. Check in is at 2:00. Checkout is at noon. The rental is offered for dates up to one year of bid. Blackout dates are Dec. 20, 2022-January 3, 2023. Availability subject to prior rental agreement; however, we rent on a very limited basis, so lots of great dates are available! Similar cabins in the area rent from between $150 per night (off season) to $300 per night (ski season), plus taxes and cleaning/service fees. The closest airports are Asheville (two-hour drive away) and Charlotte (two-and-a-half hours away). Please note that the cabin sits on a hillside and stairs must be climbed to enter the cabin, so this is not an ideal property for those with mobility issues.
