In conjunction with Hillsborough’s Last Fridays, the Friends of the Orange County Public Library are proud to sponsor a free concert this Friday, July 27, at 8:00 p.m. Hooverville, featuring local author John Claude Bemis, plays Americana originals celebrating the rustic roots of American music. Join us in the Main Meeting Room of the Orange County Public Library in downtown Hillsborough. Because the library is closed at that time, you will need to come around to the side door (beside the parking lot).
John Claude Bemis is the author of several noted children’s books, including The Wooden Prince and Lord of Monsters. He was the North Carolina Piedmont Laureate for Children’s Literature in 2013.
