The Friends of the Orange County Public Library supports library programs that benefit our community, and the majority of funds are raised through used book sales. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 virus, the Friends was unable to hold a used book sale this spring.
Luckily, the Hillsborough area is home to many generous authors who’ve stepped in to help fill this fundraising deficit. From now through the end of June, if you renew your Friends membership at the Family Membership Level of $40 (or make a donation of $40 or more if you’ve already renewed), you can choose a book from a participating author as your free gift. Books will be mailed to any U.S. address, so you do not have to live in Orange County to donate. Hooray! For details, see the book list and author website links below.
Donations can be made online through our Donate page. You can pay via a credit or debit card without a PayPal account, or use your PayPal account to contribute. Once your donation is processed, you will receive an e-mail requesting your book choice.
