Library updates from Nancy Crewes
We’ll do planning for summer learning earlier this year Erin just came back from a state meeting, and updates will be forthcoming from that.

Diane Kelly Writer’s workshop. November 5: Samantha, Melissa, Diane K, Lynn Chandler Willis, Eryk Pruitt, James Maxey. Jody has launched the flash fiction contest.

proposed changes document: will be sent via email for review/voting consider term limits on offices: 5 years in one particular office
Leftover Books problem at end of book sales discussion of partnering with various groups that might need/want books (literacy groups, etc.) research what other Friends groups do; check into state and national organizations get back to a regular book culling process–open it up to volunteers who are not board members, perhaps rewarding with free books formation of a book sale committee that would set criteria for culling, organize regular culling sessions Stacey, Mark, Diane K, Samantha
Brainstorming for other ways to raise funds. members only night for book sale members tea silent auction items to sell (totebags, car magnets, etc.)
