A special guest from the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences will visit the library to share fascinating facts about these incredible prehistoric creatures. Dig into exciting recent discoveries, including the famous “dueling dinosaurs”—a remarkable fossil capturing a Tyrannosaurus rex relative and a Triceratops locked in an ancient battle. Explore how scientists study fossils to solve mysteries millions of years old and uncover what really happened between these two dinosaurs.
You’ll also learn about groundbreaking new research on Nanotyrannus, a small tyrannosaur now confirmed to be its own species rather than a young T. rex—changing what we know about dinosaur life and growth.
