National Friends of Libraries Week, organized by United for Libraries, celebrates the volunteers and members who raise money, advocate and lend a hand for their public libraries. In Orange County that is the Friends of the Orange County Public Library, at work since 1981.
The easiest ways to take part: join or renew, volunteer at a book sale, or make a gift.
