September is Library Card Sign-Up Month, the American Library Association's annual reminder that a library card is one of the most valuable cards in any wallet. A card costs nothing, and it unlocks everything the library subscribes to: language courses, genealogy records, streaming film, car repair manuals, eBooks and audiobooks, and the databases behind the resource explorer.
Using the library is one of the cheapest and easiest ways there is to support it. Orange County residents can sign up at the Main Library in Hillsborough or the Southern Branch, or start online.
