The Friends are neighbors who want the library to do more than its public budget allows. We raise money through memberships, donations, and book sales; volunteer at events and sales; and speak up when the library needs community support.
Because we have no paid staff or office, nearly every dollar we raise goes back to the library. Some Friends help every week. Others give once a year or take a single shift at a sale. Every bit of it matters.
Join the Friends
Membership dues help fund summer reading, technology, author events, and other needs beyond the library's public budget. Members also get early access to our big book sales. Membership starts at $25 a year.
Join the Friends →Make a Donation
Give once or make it monthly. Your gift helps pay for programs, staff training, technology, and resources patrons use throughout the year. Every dollar stays here in Orange County.
Make a gift →Volunteer
Our book sales and events happen because people pitch in. Sort donations, set up tables, help shoppers, staff an event, or take a short shift when you can.

Local businesses can support summer reading, author events, book sales, and other library programs. Sponsors receive recognition on our website and at the events they help make possible.
